Two page document handed out of how the TDS building will look. The 2nd page is the site plan. 147 shared parking spaces between TDS and QCV. The site has been elevated along with the road design. Storm water is addressed. The parking lot will use impervious concrete which is a little bit more than budgeted for. The building cost is as expected. The current TDS building needs to be moved by July. It cannot be worked around. Alternative is to cut the building in half. It’s full of computer equipment. Steve’s alternative is for temporary place. Move TDS in there with a two month overlap. Services will be disrupted for about 5 days during the temporary move. This building houses the servers and securities systems. 17 people will be displaced. Everything must be moved out, stored and then re-set to get network up and moving again. The additional cost and would be a good temporary site. Project Manager doesn’t agree. The building can be moved south about 20 feet with minimal disruption. There are still a lot of computers that have to be disconnected and reconnected. It will take 4-5 days to do this. The server site would still be up and running. What is the cost difference between moving 20 feet and 235 feet? Unknown. The network site would still be in the Museum parking area. It will not be easy to move the server building. It will need to stay there. Council needs to continue this discussion with the Project Manager. Whatever is done, Verizon has to engineer it and this could take 2 – 6 weeks. 85 people will be moved when the building is ready. The building has very little room for future growth.

Meeting adjourned at 10:24 a.m.

Minutes approved at the regular Quil Ceda Village Council meeting of June 20, 2007.
