6) Southern Ute update
The Southern Utes have gone through a re-organization. Tulalip’s
contact person
Has been promoted to a new position in S.U. organization.
The recommendation
Is to send the Village General Manager, the Special Projects
Manager and one
Tribal Board Member to Durango, Colorado to meet with the
new key people at
Southern Ute. Arrangements will be made within two weeks
for the trip. The
Southern Ute’s will be invited to come and meet with
the entire Tulalip Tribes
Board of Directors.
7) QCV Village Checking Account, Additional Signers
Motion made by Calvin Taylor to adopt Resolution No. 02-0013
which adds the
Remainder of the Tulalip Tribes Board of Directors as check
signers for all
Quil Ceda Village Checking and Money Market Accounts.

The Village Maintenance staff will be directed to erect the
directional sign at the appropriate location.
New Business:
12) TERO Lease
Discussion: The Tulalip Tribes TERO Department would like
to lease old Boeing Building from Quil Ceda Village. This
building is scheduled to be demolished within two years.
A lease will be developed to allow TERO to use the building
on a temporary basis at no cost provided TERO pay for all
costs associated with
Making the building usable for their needs. The building
must be shared with the
Village Maintenance Crew.
13) Business License
Discussion: Quil Ceda Village does not want to force businesses
to purchase two business licenses. The Village will honor
Tulalip Tribes Business License and would hope that the Tribes
will honor any licenses issued by Quil Ceda Village.
14) FYI – Quil Ceda Village and Business Park Web
Site is launched.
Discussion: The Web Site for Quil Ceda Village and the Village
Business Park is launched. The address is www.tulaliptribes.com.
The menu will allow users to link to all Tribal websites.
The General Manager would like to publicly thank all staff
that worked so diligently to put the web sites together.
Their efforts are greatly appreciated. The sites are wonderful,
easy to view and will provide a much-needed source of information
to people who want to know more about Quil Ceda Village,
the newest City in the State of Washington. Please check
the sites out.
