WHEREAS, the Village Council is the governing body of the Consolidated Borough of Quil Ceda Village under the Village Charter approved by the Tulalip Tribes' Board of Directors pursuant to Ordinance 111, and
 
WHEREAS, the Village Council is empowered by Article I, Section 3 and Article II, Section I, and Article III, Section 3, and Section 3(a) of the Charter to exercise governmental powers.
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Consolidated Borough of Quil Ceda Village adopts as follows:
 

The Quil Ceda Village General Manager shall be given the authority to establish a credit card in the name of Quil Ceda Village with Costco. The Village General Manager will be the authorized user of such credit card. The credit card shall not exceed a credit limit of $10,000. The credit card will only be used for essential government services of Quil Ceda Village. The appropriate policies will be followed regarding its usage.

 
ADOPTED by the Village Council at a regular meeting assembled on the 15th of October, 2002, with a quorum present, by a vote of 2 for and 0 against.
